Now You See It: Visual Data Analysis

Most business data analysis requires skills and practices involving the use of graphs that can be easily learned, but resources that teach them are almost impossible to find. Almost all books and courses on data analysis teach sophisticated statistical and financial analysis techniques, but only about 10% of business data analysis requires them. This full-day course is for those responsible for the remaining 90%.

Groups of two or more people may be eligible for discounts. Group registrations can be made online or by calling us directly at (510) 558-7400. Payments for groups may be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or purchase order.

Multi-Day/Group Discounts

The following discounts will be applied to your registration fee, based on the total number of courses you register for:

11 to 15	20%
16 or more	25%

Any group wishing to enroll more than 15 individuals should contact us directly at register@perceptualedge.com or (510) 558-7400 to discuss the possibility scheduling a private workshop for your organization at your own site at a reduced per person cost.

Full time students and approved non-profit organizations may receive an additional 25% discount (applied to total, after any group discounts). To request this discount, please call us at (510) 558-7400, rather than registering via the Web. Students must provide a copy of their student ID.

Location

The event will be held in the Mansion at Judges' Hill, located at 1900 Rio Grande Street in Austin, Texas, near the University of Texas campus and the Texas State Capitol. Directions to the Mansion at Judges' Hill can be found at their website.

Lodging

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Mansion at Judges' Hill for your convenience. Reservations can be made by phone by calling them at (512) 495-1800. Group rates range from $169 to $199 per night, depending on the room, plus taxes and fees. Be sure to tell them that you are attending the "Visual Business Intelligence Workshop" to receive the discounted rates.

Food

Lunch will be provided each day along with morning and afternoon refreshments.

What to Bring

You won't need anything special during the courses, including a computer. In fact, use of computers during courses is discouraged.

Time

Each course is scheduled from 9am to 5pm with a one hour break for lunch. Registration check-in will begin at 8:30am every day.

Materials

When you check in you will be given a badge and an information packet which will contain materials for all of the courses for which you've registered.
